Clarity has played an important role in the development and positioning of the way Rio Tinto Iron Ore employees receive company news. The latest news service gives employees information with the click of a button thanks to the innovative FeATURES online newsletter.

Originally a bi-monthly printed newsletter, FeATURES is now distributed at the start of each month using email and intranet links to more than 7,000 employees.
The goal is to create a timely, interactive, cost-effective and sustainable way of communicating with employees.
Clarity’s public relations consultants work with Rio Tinto to develop an editorial list each month and then research and write articles. They also source photographs, video clips, and digitally record interviews for inclusion in the newsletter.
Clarity has designed the FeATURES email and intranet templates and uploads the articles with their relevant multimedia components using a purpose-built administration console.
FeATURES is easy to navigate with minimal scroll bars, direct article links, easy menu access and easily accessible audio and video clips. Written in an informal style, the newsletter is visually appealing with bright headings, a variety of pictures, company branding and generous space for photographs.
