Western Australians have seen the harsh reality of what can happen if you trespass on rail property through an award winning safety communications program created by Clarity and the Public Transport Authority.

Clarity was instrumental in planning and implementing ‘Stay Off The Tracks’, which focuses on reducing trespass and anti-social behaviour on the rail network.
Clarity researched on track trespass issues, the main areas of concern, as well as national and international rail safety programs addressing similar problems in other cities.
Armed with this information Clarity developed a communications plan focusing on two core areas: increasing passenger safety and reducing track crime. The research also assisted in finding the best tools to communicate general track safety practices and the risks and penalties of trespass.
Clarity's campaign included advertising, education, media, signage and internal communications as components of the program. It won a West Australian PRIA award in 2007.
