Performance psychologists, Sentis, contacted Clarity to assist their entry into the Western Australia resources industry.
Western Australia’s resource industry may be driving the economy, but it lags behind other states when it comes to workplace safety.
Sentis has been successfully operating in the Eastern States with many of its major resource clients reporting zero safety incidents as little as a year after their Zero Incident Process (ZIP) program was implemented.
Mining giants, such as Rio Tinto and BHP Billiton, are currently using ZIP run by Sentis in their eastern states operations.
ZIP differs from other workplace safety programs as it aims to help employees be intrinsically motivated to stay safe rather than providing external motivators, such as the traditional positive or negative re-instatement models.
Clarity will be assisting Sentis bring this new program into Western Australia through media relations and assistance with business development.
