More than 5,000 people got a behind the scenes view of some of Western Australia’s largest mining operations in October as part of the Chamber of Minerals and Energy’s Mine Open Day.
Coordinated by Clarity Communications, Mine Open Day was a huge success with 21 mining operations in the Pilbara, Goldfields and South West of the State providing free public tours.
The focus of this year’s Mine Open Day was on careers, giving students and parents an opportunity to visit an operating mine site and learn about the exciting and financially rewarding opportunities available to young people in the resource sector.
Clarity was responsible for the project management of Mine Open Day which involved various mine liaison, budgeting, advertising, promotion and media activities.
